NEEDED !! :: Regional Director of Marketing @ Hilton Egypt

Description : Lead, drive and develop the Hilton Family of brands marketing strategy and activity plan in the region: o Develop an annual marketing plan for the region. o Work with the Central Marketing team / brand teams and the hotels in the region to ensure that the brand / Corporate Marketing strategies and new initiatives are rolled out in the region. o Give input and feedback from the field to the Central Marketing / brands team on the new product and corporate initiatives. o Drive new product initiatives and roll-outs in the region. o Drive the relevant promotions and creates, recommends, implements and monitors appropriate and relevant marketing activities in response to short, medium and long term business needs and to keep the products fresh in the consumer mind. · Lead, drive and develop the regional Marketing team and budgets: o Sets and utilize the annual regional and area programs’ budget in an effective manner to best allocate finance for effective and measurable initiatives. o Selects, trains, coaches and develops people in the regional marketing department to enhance performance and to meet the current and future needs of the department. o Selects and recruits individuals who have the potential to perform. o Identifies development needs of team members and makes recommendations for Training.


Qualifications : Communications skills – confident and effective verbal and written communicator, ability to build and manage relationships, understanding local and international environment and cultures, energy, enthusiasm, calm and positive attitude. · Leadership – self-starter with excellent planning skills, willingness to take responsibility and commitment, sound decision making and judgment. · Creative initiator & out-of-the box ideas’ oriented. · Strategic thinker – understanding of hotel’s business and commercial objectives, promote value of brands, marketing and media to the business. · Entrepreneurial and target-driven commercially oriented. People skills – people-person, team player, people developer, ability to interface with other departments, relationship builder.
